Niczuk — We care for the environment

We aim to make the Niczuk brand synonymous with caring for the community and environment in addition to being a leader in its industry. As a team, we support eco-friendly solutions and want to have an impact on the quality of life of the community through educational, cultural and sports activities. We are a socially responsible company and operate according to CSR principles.

We care about the local community.

We actively support the local community. We want to affect our immediate environment responsibly. We provide financial and material support to NGOs, schools and other institutions in the region. We provide co-financing for the Volunteer Fire Department in Jonkowo. We support local schools, orphanages and community centers. We also do charity work aimed to promote culture. In 2019, we supported the “Sztuka w obejściu” (trans. Art in the homestead) event, where yard and home art galleries, exhibitions, crafts, performances and concerts could be seen during a multi-day trek through the Jonkowo community. We also enjoy local music initiatives. In 2018, we sponsored the largest music event in Olsztyn, the Green Festival, which, like us, promotes ecology and health care. 

Our charge.

As a result of planning our company’s further pro-ecological activities, and in the face of the epidemic threat and related problems of zoos, we decided to adopt one of the animals from the Gdańsk ZOO. We feel the need to help, so we took Katka the elephant under our wing.

We support the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and the Noble Gift charity organizations.

In short, we like to help. We are happy to get involved in various campaigns to support those in need. Every year we take part in the Noble Gift charity event by organizing a collection of money, food, clothes and cleaning products, which we later pass on to a selected family.  We are most proud of our participation in the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity events, where for the past two years we have been donating money both to the foundation itself and to organize the Olsztyn events.

We care about our employees.

We do not forget about the immediate environment — our employees and their families. June’s Family Eco-Picnic has become a tradition, during which we promote ecology and a healthy lifestyle. Several times a year we organize parties and orientation meetings and numerous initiatives for children such as a sleigh rides, St. Nicholas’ Day, artistic and educational workshops and day trips. In this way, we build long-term bonds not only between employees but also their families. We are happy to support the creativity and interests of our employees. We were the main sponsor of the Warmia and Mazury E-Sports Championship organized by the AstroBoyz Association, of which one of our employees is a member.

Since 2016, we have held the title of Reliable Employer. We know that the success we continue to achieve is primarily due to our employees. It is their work and commitment that determines where we are now and where we will be in the years to come. We know how to show appreciation and we like to do it. Our years of experience allowed us to develop a specific partnership standards of work. 

We have won the “Żagle Warmii i Mazur” (trans. Sails of Warmia and Mazury) competition three times, being awarded the Socially Responsible Enterprise WaMaBOSS title. We were also awarded the Business Gazelle, as one of the most dynamically developing Polish companies. We have also been honored with such titles as: Eco Responsible in Business and Resource Efficient Entrepreneur. In 2019, we were the first company in Warmia and Mazury to join the project and receive the ECOlogical in business certificate (orig. EKOlogiczni w biznesie).
