The origins of the company. 1957.

The history of our company began in June 1957, when at Grunwaldzka Street in Olsztyn Anna and Roman Niczuk opened a small workshop called Zakład Ślusarski Roman Niczuk, which made keys and provided small locksmith services. In 1964 the company started production of warehouse racks with self-propelled ladders and elevators for their operation. With its new products, it has become a leader in the local market and has earned a reputation as a solid family business.

1975. The origins of export.

In 1975, Andrzej, the son, started working in the company. He was responsible for organizing the production and introducing the first mass-produced items, i.e. wrenches, car jacks, suspension elements and subassemblies, which were available on the automotive market at that time. This was an excellent period in the company's operations, which contributed to its rapid growth. The next stage was obtaining by Andrzej, already then the President of the company, first foreign orders for the production of machined elements. In the 1970s, he began exporting to Denmark, Norway, Germany and France. 

International cooperation. 1978.

In 1978 cooperation with one of the leading German companies was established and on the basis of a long-term contract the production of scraper chains for loose material conveyors was started. The fruitful cooperation with Germans contributed to the acquisition of knowledge and resources that enabled the company to develop for the coming years. The experience gained in the production of chains was used to introduce this product to the Polish market. Thanks to them, the small production company has become a recognizable brand, perceived as a reliable partner for cooperation.

1988. Economic transformation.

In the years of economic transformation and changes in the country, new opportunities for company development appeared. During this period, the Board decided to introduce a new series of products – pipe clamps. The product, which in Poland had until then been manufactured only by hand by plumbers, was to become their basic product in the near future, used to this day in their installations. The introduction of clamps has become a turning point for the company, as it has set a new direction for its development – as the main supplier of installation fixtures on the Polish market. Over 28 years, more than 740 products used in the installation industry have been introduced to the Niczuk offer, which today constitute a complete system.

A new era of development. 1999.

A new era in the company’s development has begun, in which the most important thing was to focus on changing production from medium to high volumes. It became critical to equip the manufacturing plant with modern, high-performance machinery to ensure repeatable quality and plant independence. The experience and knowledge of our specialists gained over the years have enabled the design and manufacture of technically advanced technological instrumentation. To confirm the quality guarantee, the company introduced ISO quality control standards in 1999.

2000. A significant increase in sales.

The consequence of the systematic growth of sales in Poland was the dynamic development of the Niczuk brand on foreign markets. The export sales in the installation industry began in 2000. The first direction that was chosen was Germany, followed by Russia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Belarus. Today, Niczuk products are exported to France, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Austria and Sweden, among others.

Three generations and still going strong. 2005.

In 2005, a member of the third generation of the family, Jakub Niczuk, started working for the company. He was mainly involved in the development and investments in the fastening department, and introduced some new, innovative products. His initiative led to the development of backup facilities and technical support dedicated to customers. The structures of the design department, which supports the activities of the company's business partners on a daily basis, were expanded and strengthened. As a result, the main goal for the company's activities was set - to become the leader on the Polish installation market.

2019. Plans for further development.

The company has undergone an advanced sales network modernization process, focused on providing customers with the highest level of service and advice. In late 2019, Niczuk company was converted to a limited partnership, which also necessitated a name change. Today THALE is a company with modern management, competitive offer and innovations that supply the installation and feed industry with top class specialized products both in Poland and in Europe.
